Vonarent — Car Rental Software Website

The biggest risk for a software website is promising something the product doesn't do. When a rental operator comes to a demo, they look for the screen they saw on the site; if it isn't there, the sale ends. So we built Vonarent's new site starting from the product itself: we first went through Vonarent's code module by module, wrote down what actually exists, and wrote every text on the site against that document.

A verified product story

• Bookings and the rental agreement flow, price lists, the vehicle record, customers, cash and e-invoicing are described from facts taken from the code
• Features the product does not have (e.g. tablet signatures, comprehensive insurance reminders) were removed from the copy
• Every module, from booking to invoice, has its own page, all in the same package

Screen examples

• Colours, menus and labels follow a specification of the real interface; sample data is made up, no real customer data

Admin panel

• Features, integrations, blog, text pages, FAQs, testimonials, leads and media are managed in the panel
• Home page, pricing, comparison and site settings too
