Gedikoğlu Zeytincilik is a heritage olive and olive oil producer from the Aegean region of Turkey. Long selling through traditional channels, they wanted to take their sales direct-to-consumer under their own brand — no marketplace commissions, full brand control. A D2C digital sales platform built on Vevona's white-label e-commerce infrastructure Vonasoft, adapted to the food sector.
Business problems solved
- Marketplace commission burden: Trendyol/Hepsiburada take 10–18% per sale. With their own brand sales channel, all revenue stays with Gedikoğlu.
- Brand identity loss: On marketplaces, Gedikoğlu was just another listing row. Now, with their own sector-specific theme — a professional storefront that conveys organic, natural, quality positioning.
- Customer relationship trapped on platform: Marketplaces own the buyer's data. Now email, order history, behavior data belong to Gedikoğlu — critical for re-sale.
